Privacy
Your data.
Mostly yours.
SurfSeer's whole job is reading the ocean — not reading you. Here's exactly what we collect, what we don't, and how to make us forget you.

What we collect
SurfSeer is built to give you a surf forecast, not to surveil you. We collect the minimum required to make the product work:
- Favorite spots — stored in your browser's localStorage. It never leaves your device and we cannot see it. Clearing your browser data deletes it.
- Anonymous page-view analytics — we use Vercel Analytics to count visits per page. No cookies, no personal identifiers, no cross-site tracking.
What we don't collect
- · Your location. SurfSeer's spots are pre-defined; we never read your GPS.
- · Your contacts, photos, or files. No device permissions are requested.
- · Behavioral profiles, ad identifiers, or fingerprinting signals.
- · Payment or financial information.
- · Anything we don't strictly need.
Who we share data with
We do not sell, rent, or trade any user data. The only third parties that process data on our behalf are essential infrastructure providers:
- Vercel — hosts the site and serves anonymous analytics.
- Supabase — stores the forecast cache (per-spot wave/wind/tide data). Encrypted at rest. No personal data is stored.
- Stormglass and NOAA — provide raw forecast and tide data. We send them coordinates of public surf spots; we never send them anything about you.
How to unsubscribe or delete your data
SurfSeer doesn't collect personal data, so there's nothing on our servers to remove. Favorites and language preference live in your browser only.
To delete favorite spots saved in your browser, clear your site data for SurfSeer in your browser settings.
For any other data removal request, email rodrigo16seer@gmail.com with the subject \"Delete my data\" and we will process the request within 30 days.
Children
SurfSeer is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 13. If you believe we have, contact us and we will delete the information.
Security
Data in transit is protected by HTTPS. Cached forecast data at rest is encrypted by Supabase. We don't store any personal data or payment data because we don't collect either.
Changes to this policy
If we make material changes, we will update this page and revise the date below. Continued use of SurfSeer after a change means you accept the updated policy.
